Dexter Lander is a British photographer based in Paris whose work is driven by a playful exploration of the human imagination.
Working across still life, fashion and portraiture, Lander crafts imagery that challenges conventional understandings of scale, with an innovative and singular approach to texture and colour.
Using miniature and/or human models, he builds rich scenes of expressive characters, whose interchangeable presence creates a singular aesthetic world, resulting in spirited and highly evocative scenes that explore nostalgia, tactility and the joyful eccentricities of life.
